If the applied model code matches that in the link that i put up then yes!

Its an RA where as the 555 sti is just an sti with some cosmetics

The only lighter thing is the bonnet and all imports had that. Its just that they had wind up windows, no air con, no side skirts. They also had DCCD where as the sti doesnt.

Check the model codes above.

In V2 guise you got the WRX RA, the STI RA and STI RA V-limited.
The 555 was a different car, based on the STI and not RA.

As said earlier, the RA was a lighter car which did without the toys and certain body trim (side skirts for example). They did not have lightweight panels or thinner glass like some people think.
The V-limited RA was identical to the STI RA but came in a limited run of blue.

You'll be lucky mate, there are very few standard Imprezas left now and STI RA's are pretty rare anyway.

I've been looking for a completely original first gen RA for ages with no joy.

Also,
The car in the link I provided looks a good one. It's got a good spec and some nice bits on it.

nope, an almost standard one is what i want. a fmic or some different alloys or a better exhaust would be ok, but i dont want one with bigger turbo and all that.

you dont know what sort of life its had then. Not that you know any cars life, but you kind of get the hint when you see addons like that. you agree?

You could call it a V1 however the 'version' status only applied to STI's. I'm after a 1993 WRX type RA (only a WRX and RA was available) myA series car.

No not really chap. The car in the link was imported just 3 years ago and the current owner bought it 2 years ago in standard trim. He seems (I know it's hard to tell) like an enthusiast rather than your usual boy racer and the mods carried out have been supported by a decent ecu.
Also has low mileage and lots of paperwork according to the advert.

To be honest with you when it comes to 555 there's so many different views that have been debated on here its hard to know what you got.

I got a Type r v3 Its original colour is yellow and It don't have a roof vent.

I have read on here that its an "Anniversary edition" First time I heard of it to!!
Apparently Subaru made only A handful in yellow that came with dark wheels.
There is no other difference other than colour Hence the "Anniversary edition"

V-limited started at V2. Continued through to V4 but dropped the V after that and became limiteds.

I've never heard of 'anniversary' edition. I was under the impression that the yellow V3 type R's were called 'signature edition' but I recenty learnt that this is incorrect. You just have a yellow STI V3 type R.

And there's only one true 555. The 1996 STI 555 edition.

V stands for Victory and was a limited edition when Subaru won something

if they didn't win anything but fancied a limited edition then it was released as just a limited LOL
