Have a new 02 WRX (and love it ) but despise the turbo lag and lack of low end grunt...

How do I minimise turbo lag - exhaust or what?

And low end grunt, can the torque band be lowered?

Come on you experts, I need a drivable, fast car that doesn't sound like concord passing over.

Your help welcome... Any sugguestions please?

Put on some Gold Alloys. That'll add 20 BHp to your car.

Decat is the way to go... makes a massive difference - try a Scoobysport downpipe and whatever else you can afford in the system!

(and get rid of that cat in the uppipe - if that lets go.... muched turbo time)

Thumbs up

Thanks Bretman. I appreciate your reply.

Have been looking at APS "210kw" kit on a Aussie website, exhaust and a few other bits too. Seems v. good.

Spose I'll see if they are in the U.K. Cheers mate.

As for the boyz in gold caps... ho ho
