If you're running 450bhp on a 5-speed the clutch is the least of your worries - newage boxes are good for about 350-400, classics less than that

not entirely true, there are many different types/models of early 5 spped boxes,i know of a few 752 dccd boxes running just shy of 400/400 and have been good.....but yes, generally they are weaker.some of the newage 5 speed wrx boxes are also very weak, and possibly weaker than some types of the early 5 speeds. all depends on what life the box had in the past and also what code the box is as some have strengthened gear kits.

i would also like to know what people are running on the 5 speed pink box clutch.....
im running 338/316,no probs yet,i think they are meant to be rated to 350/350 but im sure there is many other people running more??

The torque from the 321T will cause it to slip rather then bhp.

ACT have good reviews
