Default 2001 Bug WRX Service

Looking at getting this done in next few weeks and was wondering which oil and plugs to use. Does anyone have the model of the NGK plugs which are 1 grade cooler? I believe these would support a possible future map well?

Try NGK PFR7B which are 1 grade colder than the oem plugs and should be good for any upgrades.

I'd use a 5w-40 oil

http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-656-5w-40.aspx

Out of those, the best ones are the Fuchs/Silkolene Pro S, Millers CFS/CFS NT, Motul 300V, Redline and Gulf Competition. The Motul 8100 X-Cess, Millers XFS, Fuchs GT1 XTL/Supersyn, Shell Helix and Mobil Super 3000 are good, cheaper alternatives.

Cheers

Tim

I recently did a 60k service on my bug and used Shell Helix Ultra in the 5w40 variety.

6s are the standard grade and as above the 7s are the one you want
