new impreza catalunya owner here totally standard
love the car but it has erratic idle and bogging down on boost when i give it some, like its not getting enough air or fuel
any other owners have any ideas what it might be

hi . no not modded. i have repaired the maf and has not irratic idled since so hope all is well. but the mpg is bad about 200 miles a tank if im lucky

Repaired the maf???? Change it bud, the other thing to look at is the iac valve,

 

dont know wich maf to get and from where.

ok i have checked and cleaned the iacv and no luck only the maf fixed the idle problem. do you get a sight smell of fuel when you stop? is that normal

 

The maf has a coloured label on it, not sure on IRS I may be green
