went to have a look at a bugeye today but had light on whats worst case it could b

Can be loads of things mate, have a reader on it,what did the owner say it was?

Personally i would walk away.
If he is going to try and tell you that the eml is on for a clutch, what else is he going to tell you porkies about.
Trust no-one in this day and age mate.

he knew nothing about imprezas luck i did as owned 1 in past so told him go get it read and come back to me with info. it did have one of them built in readers where cd player sits had blue buttons on right hand side but i didnt know how it worked

no he was a trader and had taken it in px, i cant remember what there called they do alsorts like read boost and such and r single din sized and connect in2 obn socket under dash

Secs monitor. Great peice of kit and will read clear codes etc etc

Lol her obvious don't have a clue as he could of cleared the light wih the PSI3 lol

If you go back just run through the menus and you will see how to read codes and can check what it's on for

Lol that's the first time I heard engine light for clutch, Its possible for it to be on if the car been de-catted or faulty maf sensor something along them lines but defo not clutch

press enter, use arrows to scroll through options till you get to 'read error codes' press enter will display current error codes, press enter again, will display historic codes. Press exit

you can also clear them, another option on same menu. But do this with just ignition on, and then restart car and see do they return

put sacs on b4 and got code p0171 which i think means lean on bank 1?
