how do peoples, i own an 04'plate sti, ive had the engine light come up on the dash, put the scanner to find out what it was, came up with 'PO244 -- turbo/super charger wastegate solonoid "A" range, car still drives fine and still pulls like a train and doesnt feel no different, anyone have an idea what this could be or what could of caused it, location, rough cost for replacement etc

The boost solenoid is on the drivers side front strut tower under the black cover. It probably needs cleaning, do a search for cleaning boost solenoid as when you connect two plugs under the dash it clicks and can be sprayed with cleaner.
