HELP PLEASE, i've just bought an awd sport that has had a legacy 2.5 fitted with a quick shift box, i've found that the speedo doesn't work. when i checked i discovered that there was no cable and that the gearbox has a wired connector and the clocks are a cable. what is there that i can do to address this problem.

 

Is it possible to fit the drive from an earlier box so as to use the cable drive?

David O'Brien is your man to ask, at API, he may be able to advise and may even be able to get you one if it's possible.

If not, what about some nice new electronic clocks?
BUT: the wiring is a PITA because none of the plugs match and the colour codes are all different.
