Decat Up pipe Flexi or not?

Decat Up pipe Flexi or not?
I want to put a decat up pipe on my classic wagon. Some have a flexi join, some don't. What are the pro's n con's of either.

Ok thanks. I now realise it is the downpipe I need....there is no cat on the way to the turbo...rolls eyes :-)
