hi all

i'm having a pig of a job fitting a td05 turbo to a 1999 wrx, the lower water feed pipe hits engine and dont sit full on the de-cat pipe, tried a few things but still wont fit! the water feed pipes on the td04 are smaller then the td05 so cant swap them

any help please?

I had the same with mine. I bend the lines slightly with a rubber mallet (not too much or they'll kink/crack) and filed a bit from away from the engine with a hand file - this was on a newage.

I've bent the pipe but still hits the block, think I take a few mm off the block , all fit nd work ok mate? No problems?

Did the same on mine took a few mm out of it and bent the pipe worked 100%

take few mm off the casing with a file make sure plenty clearance else will wear pipe away over time.
