Lots!
Recently swapped my Ferodo DS2500's for Bluestuff NDX's and I prefer them. They work immediatly from cold and seem to require slightly less push for a given retardation. Haven't been on track with them yet, though.
Wot the orange stuff?
As like i said I have the red stuff and they squeak like mad, striped them down cleaned all the dust etc and 2 weeks later squeaking again! So they need to go, and yea b intrested to know wot the mintex r like.
Performance Friction Z rated pads all round, with PF 2 piece discs on the front!
Work well from cold, then get better & better when warm/hot!
No squeal AT ALL!!
Only for daily fast road use, no track work as yet!
I've been using bluestuff NDX pads for around 18 months now and I think they are excellent. Good bite from cold, ridiculous stopping power when warm and on track I have never experienced any fade. I am using them with Ksport 8 pots on a nice light classic so I'm not sure what they'd be like with stock subaru calipers or on a newage.

On exactly the same setup, I found these good on track, but I would rather strongly question your good from cold opinion.
I used to gently left foot break for the first few hundred yards or so - otherwise, rather wooden IMO.

+1 you have to definately get some heat into them to get them to bite hard, there not to good from cold, but when there hot thats a different story simply superb.
I am running factory Subaru pads and discs at the moment and had some pretty major fade at Bedford Autodrome GT Circuit today (especially after the 1km straight!) after 4 laps. What's my best bet for a budget upgrade for pads and discs to minimise this fade? Worth doing front and rear or just front? Also which makes the biggest difference? Pads or discs? My pads are low-ish (maybe 4mm left?) and discs aren't really worn.
Thanks!

Can't say i've noticed..DEFINITELY no need to left foot brake!
It's my daily drive & either end of my commute I have a bit of a run, both B road lane & duel!
I've never had to slam them on from cold, but they do get slight use.
I wouldn't say they were any worse than the OE pads from cold in what I have use for them!
But boy are they a massive improvement when warmed up and USED
