ECU Codes and MAF???
Hi all
drove home today all normal then suddenly car started making a misfire sound and was running really rough then flashing ECU light came on, reading the codes I get
P0101
P0102
P0104
P0108
P0110
A few google searches reveal MAF type stuff, I have taken the MAF off and cleaned it with aerosol tric but no difference. A few questions I have, is it safe to drive as my nearest good scooby mechanic is over an hour away, will it definately be the MAF sensor and if so where would the best place to get one from be?
Many thanks for looking and your help.

we reset the ecu codes after putting it back on but they came straight baack and it runs like ****, just spoken to Dynamix after checking there was no loose or split hoses and he suggested unplugging the O2 sensor to see if there was any difference but alas no so all back together and scratching head again at the moment. What would be ideal would be to swap over a working one from another blob but i am not sure who is in my area :-(

you are not going to believe this, took it to Rowleys today and it was the coil pack on no2 cylinder! WTF right? all i can think is that the snap on code reader my local garage used either didnt read right or the codes were wrong. First thing Phil said was its misfiring, read the codes yep all the codes for the MAF etc were there but also No2 cylinder misfire.
Thanks for all the advice and i was glad it was only that great price as well so smiles all round
