Default Help please im lost! possiblr HG!

howdy people ok heres whats happened and can i have your opinion please

was going to be driving a fair distance the other day so went out to check the oil and water topped up the header tank but thought i might have ovef filled it so massaged the top rad hose to let some water out.

then went a drive and noticed the temp starting to rise so pulled over checked water and was very low so topped up again! its not overheated or headed above normal temp since but i have noticed the expansion tank over filling so whats your opinons airlock or HG all my vac/pressure readings are spot on. and its weird it only started doing it since i messed with it!

The expansion tank should be on the low marker when cold, if you fill this up to max when cold it will spit the excess water out. Is this what you have done?

The header tank on top of the engine should be full. The expansion tank on the side of your radiator should be on the bottom mark. Check these when the car is on level ground and been stood overnight so it's properly cold.

Hmmm it's weird I've filled it up and it's the opposite way about the header tank ends up half full and the resevior ends up full!
