Default Fuel pump problem.

My walbro fuel pump has just started making a whiring noise constantly. When I start the car it purges as normal then goes off. Then once engine is running the whiring is constant.

if i fit a new pump will the simtek and fpr need adjusting?

Please anyone who can shed some light on this as Marham is end of next week so not much time to try and get this sorted.

AFAIK you won't need even a tweak with a new pump, the fpr will keep everything in check.....

I did think the same but have been told that it will need adjusting. Thing is at the moment its running a walbro, and while i'm at it i should fit a bosch insted as the walbro is probably at its limit anyway.
