Default New to scooby's and really need some help!!!

Hello all!

Firstly hello, my name is Greg, and after many bmw's, rx8 and other such cars, i find myself with my 2000 X plate turbo classic! And if I'm honest I've never had a car make me smile like this!
I need some help guys, under very hard acceleration it feels like holding back, like a little misfire/hesitation then it accelerates through it, then a bit more hesitation, then it pulls hard again! 4th & 5th gear are worse, when I'm approaching the legal limit it's as if the turbo isn't even spinning up!
I've read various things on here, some say maf, some say coil packs/plugs/leads, but is it also true that BAILEY DUMP VALVES has a habbit of not holding boost?
Any help will be appreciated!

Thanks again

Greg

I agree with craigo, but it kinda depends how much time and cash you want to spend on it.
I had a similar prob with a honda i had, problem steadily got worse till it just started then died again - fuel filter.
maybe worth a try.

In my experience coil packs tend to feel somewhat harsher than 'hesitation' when they need replacing.
