Default NEED HELP decoding my vin plate

I have a green mica 1998 Subaru impreza European spec I have looked everywhere online to decode the vin but can't find the whole thing anywhere please help trying to order brake rotors But can't figure out what model to put and where to order them from preferably from the US.**I also wanna know as much as I can about the car.*

Are you sure the applied model code is right ? The "L" should actually be a number..

Yes it is an L thats where I was running into the problem thanks though I havnt seen that site yet

8= 2.0l Turbo
F= Sept 1998 - Aug 1999
L=????, Should be a 2(2 door) or 4(4 door) or (5 5door wagon)
8=WRX
D= Speed manual

Thats all i can decipher from it, Are you looking for front or rear rotors as the fronts would be a straight swap for the same size disc. Just measure them, I think they will be either 295mm(4 Pot calliper) or 277mm sliding caliper and 266mm for the rears(I think)

So where should I look cause every American site has 3 model to choose from the L, RS, OR OUTBACK and none have the 2.0l turbo option I really need brakes bad and kinda cheap thanks
