Anyone pics of how theirs sits as I'm struggling to see what the problem is with mine (see my pic below)

The ends of the bar are contacting the control arms. As can be imagined, the drive is pretty hairy - skating, rock solid front

Car is an STi bug wagon, with alloy control arms and caster bushings. Bar is a Whiteline 22mm adjustable

The DL's look stressed, and not long enough

droplinks always look stressed when jacked up, use the other hole on the arb

 

You sure you have the right bar for your car ?

 

As 53 says. That does'nt look right bud. The droplink should be near enough vertical. I would get it checked

With an STi wagon you appear to be in a grey area.

So, here's the story...

Don's right in that the car sits in a grey area. I ended up going for a 33Z 'saloon' bar. Car has alloy control arms fitted, as well as saloon front wings, which the wheels 'fill' correctly.

According the Whiteline, the wagon has the wider front track (I had gone forward thinking it was the saloon which had the wider...) and needs a 12Z...

However... Whiteline say the difference in width of the two bars is minimal, and if the 12Z bar was fitted, it would not sort out what is happening here. The handling is positively dangerous at any speed in a corner.

Whiteline are being 100% helpful, but at the moment can't give a definitive answer. They've asked for some more pics, and also to disconnect the DL's , rotate the bar until it clears the control arm, measure eye to eye, and then they can send DL's to suit - seems a ****-eyed way to go, but if it works all's well.

This is why I thought getting some pics of other set-ups may help.

Stu, your 'baldes' look as if they are sitting 'higher' up, but at the same time the DL is more vertical. My control arm has moved forward by I would guess 10mm since fitting the offset caster bushing, but as WL said they run a race Impreza with 10° caster with out issues like this... btw, your DL's sit at a nice angle. Is that a Cusco arb? Pretty looking

Perrin It comes with it's own issues tbh. The space between bar and drop link is a nats **** and I had to forego the spacers that Whiteline say you have to fit. I got it spot on (even if I do say so ) but it needed some brain work, nothing is easy mate

Have you had any luck with this yet ? Looking at the pictures of those other bars, your anti roll bar doesnt seem to be the right shape. Even if you get the adjustable sti droplinks, I dont think its gonna help.

 

Looking at the pic I've taken, it isn't too good for comparison. The angle could do with being more face on like 53's.

But I suppose the position of the blade needs to be further forward towards the front of the car, in other words more of a bend in the bar

We're working on a solution...

 

Whiteline are pretty good at customer service hope you get it sorted. I am using those OEM drops on my classic which is the same set up and it still looks nowt like that. If you need any nore pics just punt me an email, you have my addy

Here's my classic set-up. Blade looks to be sitting about the same height, but there's a fair gap between the bar and the control arm, and the DL is upright



It could be down to the caster increase. Here's one of the wheel position with caster bush fitted (don't look at the snow panel damage )

 

Turns out it's a badly bent bar...
