hi guys, just a quickie, i have a 2003 wrx and im watching a cobra back box on ebay-its advertised as to fit a classic but ive looked at the pics and id swear it will fit my car? am i wrong or right? i always thought classic/blobeye were different?....thanks in advance

 

If it fits a classic it will fit your car,the only difference is the front hangar,on a classic it is on the LHS of the exhaust on a newage it is on the RHS,either way there is no need to use it or cut it off as the exhaust main support comes from the 2 rear hangars.I fitted a ninja 2 off a blobeye with no probs at all,and the original scoobysport backbox i had previously never had a front hangar on at all so it could be used on all models of impreza.

 

thanks mate, the box im watching has front hanger both left and right so im gonna take a look under my car later....

 

Your car has a left & right rear hangar nr the tailpipe connected by 2 rubbers. As you look under the car you will see the centre hangar facing to the right.
