Hi i have a v1 turbo impreza and my expansion tank has cracked and was wondering if its possible to fit a alloy tank from a v4 or v5 impreza.
Has anyone done this to there scooby.

Hi mate, i cracked mine, i fitted a alloy tank from v5 i had to make a bracket to space it off the inlet manifold an also make it so it uses the same mounting holes, there at different centres. also i had to get longer hoses that come off the top expansion tank. put V1 impreza header tank into google images an you will see one thats been done third pic on the top row. hope this helps mate.

as above it takes some modding to fit but it worth i for piece of mind im in sheffield and have one for sale its finnishing on ebay this morning

im not sure if i have the hoses pal everything is upside down at the min cos im building a engine at the min martin at sss in attercliffe may have some though, im in anston pal
