I have engine fault code 24 come up recently, I have a new gasket for the idle control valve unit and one for the throttle body too, I'm going to give them a good clean at the weekend and see if that helps.

Anyone know of anything else I should do to solve my problem?

24. Idle Control System Malfunction
24. ISC Valve (Stick)
24. Open/Short in ISC Valve Circuit

hi mate, just solved my 24 fault code.whilst the battery was connected i took the connector oof the idle control valve which threw the code.I disconnected battery for 1 hr to reset ecu and now code has gone.I have driven 50 miles since ecu reset and still no code.Hope this is your problem too.
