14mm Head Stud Conversion
What are the benefits of this conversion?
What are your experiences with it - is it worthwhile?
At what power level does this become essential / useful?
I'm on a 2.5L 2006 STI.

My guess would be greater "clamping" force holding things together. I was advised that staying within the limits of the 2.5 block i.e. < 500 bhhp and the smaller (11mm is it?) cosworth jobbies are up to the task. Well, at least I hope so, because that's what's on mine!
My understanding is that go above the 500bhp mark and you're in dubious territory for the cylinders irrespective of how tightly things are clamped together!

i think the newer studs 11mm studs are better and many have reported running over 500hp with em, but alot also do the 14mm conversion for confidence more than anyhting else when running 500 +
