Default EJ257 Crank - Nitrided?

Hey folks, spec question here: I have a 2006 2.5L STI.

Does it have a nitrided crank as standard?

I noticed in Bob Rawle's build that he lists the standard crank from a MY2010 STI as being a nitrided item so I was wondering if it was the same for the MY2006 engines.

i have a 2006 short block in my my2005 sti and as far as im aware its not nitrided. Havibg said that the standard crank is apparently good for big power builds

Thanks for the response. Is there a big advantage in going nitrided?

A nitrate crank will be stronger to heat tolerance with slower metal decomposition compared to a crank that isn't
