Default The Dreaded Fuel leak

Hi everyone im new on here. I've only had my bug for 7 months and love it to bits. But due to the cold weather we have been getting my bug has the dreaded strong smell of fuel. I believe it's the fuel pipe under the inlet manifold which has contracted. I have read a few post on here regarding this issue but the post's seem to be a while back. Has any one had this problem recently?? If so did subaru fix it for you free of charge? The garage i bought it from said they will fix it but im worried they will just change the connector hose that joins the fuel pipe's together.(would this be ok or would i have to change the fuel pipes too?) I am phoning subaru uk tomorrow to see if they will fix it free of charge as some of you on here have. Thanks for your help

It has been done free of charge. Ring your local Subaru outlet and see what they say.

Mine started honking today! Its the cold weather for me, but the smell soon goes, and I haven't exploded into flames yet!
