Hello all just brought a fresh short engine after my original started the traditional scooby knock. Got a new 1 but just wanted to know what's the best head gasket to use. Not going to be running serious bhp going to be around 290.00 any help welcome thanks Laurence

 

No need for anything other than a standard gasket for 290bhp but make sure you get the correct thickness

 

As above but if its a Version 1~4 WRX dont fit the original Carbon Composite gaskets - upgrade to the MLS (multi layer steel) OEM gaskets.

I would just get cosworth gaskets as the price is almost the same.
