(turbo 2000 98 - UK)

i am thinking of getting my car mapped first with the td04 would it be possible to get 270-275 with the td04? i have had it checked and its in great nick aswell.., with uprated pump, de-cat, filter, brakes, plugs blah blah blah the regulars for lets say putting a td05 on to get 320bhp?

also if i did get a td04 mapped, would it just be a job of tweaking if i changed to a td05 or would it be a complete map (£££!)

im only thinking about this because if i can get around 270 with the td04 i might just be happy enough as i have heard they have quick spool?

270 with supporting tweaks to the exhaust should bie achievable on a TD04 but it's pretty much the max. I'm running around that on my Bugeye with just a decat centre, back box and panel filter.... exhaust on a Classic is slightly different so not sure if you need to decat or not on yours.

 

As far as later swapping to a larger turbo, if you use the same mapper, it should just be a tweak to the map. If you use different mappers, they sometimes like to start fresh.
