How many BHP should I have??
Hey guys, just bought my first Scoobaru, its a 2001 Bugeye WRX Turbo Wagon UK model. I'm wondering what HP I should be getting from it. It has the following mods, Walbro fuel pump, Baileys dump valve, VF28 turbo running at 0.5 Bar, Samco hoses, BMC panel filter, Full Stainless system with gas flow cat(not sure what brand) and a remap. Its quick, but doesn't seem that quick. My last car was a Clio 182 Cup with 220 BHP and its about the same. I'm going to go to a tuner next week and get them to have alook at the setup, just thought I'd quizz you guys first. Thanks in advance. Tobe

Yea somethings amiss. Id expect it to be running at least double that boost. Has it been mapped for those mods. Maybe you need to toggle the demist switch. It MAY have a high and low boost setting

Thats the thing, the Clio was pretty outrageous, definately better in the corners. I think the turbo and the dump valve were both fitted after the remap to be honest, I have reciepts for absolutely everything, but nothing for the turbo or remap, maybe it was just put on as a bolt on and hasn't been remapped since. I'm looking for at least 300+, I still have my Clio, but I don't trust my mates to see which is fastest haha, it would be very close though. How much difference do pink injectors make to a setup like this? Thanks for all your input guys, love the knowledge you all have.

i would have thought the cup would kill it at the mo, how much do they weigh btw.
you`ll need a fair bit more than 300 i would have thought to make the scooby feel faster.
i dont even wanna start you off but it gets expensive this tuning lark
