Default poss wheel bearing p2

well i thought my wheel bearing had gone due to the constant whining sound from my drivers side wheel .I brought the new bearing and drove to my dads yard were he has all the tools and press during the strip down iv noticed 1 of the pots in the caliper was seized solid the other 3 move freely will i need a new caliper or can i get it movin again safely ?? and also dont know if to bother doing the bearing if its not broke dont fix it sort of thing!!

brakes wont make the whining m8 - if a pistons sticking out it can cause drag on the disc which can give a fair bit of heat - might have dried the bearing out - free the caliper of first then regrease the hub - that should sort it

you can get a caliper kit and put new seals in the pots. seen thread describing how its done and doesnt look too hard. scoobyworx do the kits.

cheers i free'd the piston that was seized put it all back 2gether problem solved no more whining and yeah iain must have been dragin on the disc ta mate
