hi peeps ...

stuck on a cupple little things on my98/99 v5 type r



could someone please tell me what this connects to as i can't see anything obvious...

Now i no this is a earth but where dose the other end genrally get connected to ? it was chopped when i bought the box and have no idea
where it goes to .... ??

 

i think the first 1 is the lambda sensor plug.

 

with the earth it will go to the inner wing somewhere but if you want to be extra safe stick it to the engine aswell.

is that connector off the box????

if not it looks like a lambda sensor connector

 

just remembered the earth goes to the mount above it if you look on the mount there should be a hole with a thread

the mount as in the bit the stabliser bar on top fits into on the bulkhaed i can actually see a threaded hole in the photo

Take the earth to the inner wing, and on to battery -ve.

 

Yep I no where u mean as in just above where the dog bone is fitted on the front there..

The White connector if I remember correctly comes through the bulkhead and prob is for the lamda sensor,

The down pipe I have has had the hole closed up for the sensor do I have to fit 1 or will I get a error code on the dash or do I need to splash on another down pipe

 

No gauges, must be lambda

Dose the earth not just get bolted to the bit above the dog bone ?

 

The earth does bolt around the dogbone area
