The standard pump is probably more reliable tbh, but I would upgrade to something "better" than a walbro.

I think the Bosch 044 pump is very underestimated, rated higher than the walbro too.

I heard this too. The walbro isn't as reliable as the Bosch.

if you have just changed the fuel pump and you don't have any mods then no you won't need a remap. but when you start removing cats then you do.

As above, no remap for pump change, but when cats are removed you need the map tweeked...
