its happened a couple of times now but enough to worry me. I went to fill up with some v power as usual, when i went to start my95 wx wagon it just cranked over. so i primed the fuel pump and tried again...didn't start. Left it for a few minutes thinking about where i was going to push the car to and call for AA. tried it one last time and she started within 2-3 cranks. its done this a few times now but havent a clue where to start.
i have noticed sometimes it idles a little low and when you give it some revs it will almost die, seems ok once the car is up to temp.
Also i am experiencing a small hesitaion before boost if i put the foot down. what do you guys reckon?
try new plugs and coil packs?

 

I'd be looking at a new fuel pump chap, on a 95 if its not been replaced then its proberbly had its day.

 

just fitted a walbro 255 from eclipse. it was doing it before the fuel pump was fitted (sometimes i'd have to prime it 3 times on the old pump).
there is a nice audible whirr from the pump when ign key turned to 2. reckon a duff pump then? should i go for a hrc unit?

 

Sounds more like a temp coolant sensor problem, try do a diagnostics on your car and see what i comes up with
