ALS and Mapping
I am going down the Simtek route , and the ECU I have has ALS, now I think its a gimmic , unless you are on the track or on a rally, but as the simtek has two maps and has the ability to switch the ALS off. When mapped is there muxh difference in the map using ALS, or is it a seperate software addition then dose not effect the map ?
So the car woud be mapped, then the ALS calibrated after the map is complete.
Also how can you calibrate ALS (Assume just using Idle valve) without EGT guage ?
Thinking very twisty tracks and lots of gear changes will ALS via the idle valve make any difference ? I expect the performance curve is difficult to measure ?

ive got mine on a switch by the hand brake, it is very addictive
an external air source/pump if required for full blow antilag as your brakes will dissapear. the other option it to get a proper pedal box and get rid of the servo
