Hi, i have been looking to no avail at the maximum boost you can run on a vf24. It is currently a turbo i have and am looking at options for my new 2.1 build. I'm not looking for huge amounts of power just something which spools quickly and goes well on track.

I have bought a vf24. Would like to know this to.

 

On my previous engine it was running just over 1.25 bar i believe and this was only due to using top mount intercooler. It is a cracking turbo and went really well round cadwell park. Just not sure if it'll be wasted on the new engine or vice versa.

Well got my vf24 mapped. And was very good. Got 344 bhp.
Think around 1.4 bar. On top mount as well. So happy days. Thought I would let you know. So probably be awesome on 2.1

 

I'd be looking for something a bit better for a 2.1 stroker. Spending a few grand building a forged stroker and running a vf24 is a bit overkill..

 

I won't be using this turbo anymore, have decided to go twinscroll with either an MD or Sc turbo Not hunting big numbers just reliabilty and fun to drive 380-400 would be enough tbh.
