Prodrive ecu
I have an 03 blobeye wrx and have found a prodrive ecu from an sti, I don't think that it will work on my car but thought I would check with you guys 1st as it is very cheap, also would it need the keys programming to it or not?

Nope wont work i dont think,STI has different loom, sensors on engine that are different etc. Best off getting a WRX prodrive ecu, and just getting it mapped from someone like race dynamix

If you want a faster car just get your ECU remapped that you currently have, A prodrive ecu will make no difference if you dont have the mods to back it up, If you decat it and remap it you`ll be looking around the 270-280bhp mark anyway, so buying a new ecu would just be an added expense and yes you would then have to get the keys re-coded, which inturn would lead to more expense.

No, wont work... The Sti has two crank sensors for one thing so you'll get a CEL light on as soon as you plug it in.
As above, just get yours mapped if you want more power.

Thanks for the advice, I didnt think it would work and like you say should just stop being a tight **** and pay for a proper remap, out of curiosity any ideas what a decent remap would cost?
