Default Rear diff leak

Hi All,

Can anyone advise the oil seal arrangements in the rear diff for the half shafts? My MY98 GL diff is leaking from one side as shown in the pic below. Anyone had similar and able to advise how to resolve, what parts/seals are needed, etc?

Also a bit worried about the state of the rear subframe, which was highlighted as an advisory on the MOT. I guess this would come up ok if removed, wire brushed, rust treated and painted. Anyone faced that job and have any advice? I'm guessing some of the mounting bolts may be seized or likely to round/snap and it may become a bit of a nightmare?
