Default Bonding aluminium pipe into silicon hose..

Just bought a turbo inlet pipe in 6ply silicon, the various inlets to the hose use aluminium pipe connectors (and one bung in my case) these can all be jubilles cliped up, but just wondering if anyone as bonded them in place and what they used?

I would guess that this would be a no-no since silicone is very flexible, whilst ally isn't.

Also silicone doesn't take to most adhesives, and the two materials have vastly different coefficients of expansion.
