Default loss of power

Hello peeps

wonder if anyone can help?

some times i have noticed and its only sometimes its intermitant, it suddly seems like i loss a little power when putting down the pedel but when it does this it seems like the car is sucking alot of air but does not accelerate as fast as it normally does, then when i change gear it goes back to normal.

Like i said it does not do it all the time, but the sudden extra suction sound of air, could this possibly be an air leak? - im a novice when it comes to scooby engines so any help is much appricated

thanks

Sounds like an air leak check all your turbo hoses & your intercooler. Get a friend to rev the engine while you listen for leaks under the bonnet.

Stompers may be right if you don't find a leak.
