Hi guy's,

I've been looking at buying a 3" Roger Clark Motorsport de-cat downpipe which has been Zircotec ceramic coated.

Would anyone know the difference between this and a standard de-cat?

Really all depends on quality, as we all know RCM has a great reputation for their products.
Wrapping or ceramic coating is as good as each other tbh

It will be a quality item but is the rest of your exhaust from RCM? I am unsure of the compatibility with other makes

 

As I've found out the hard way in the past RCM exhaust systems are not compatible with any other manufactured ones!

I had the exact same downpipe fitted and my existing 3" exhaust system wouldn't fit properly and neither would a h&s system... So I had to bite the bullett and buy the rest of the system from RCM, however it was worth it's as the RCM build quality is second to none!!

I have a Full 2.5" RCM exhaust system from the de-cat pipe which I currently have on it. I spoke to the guys at RCM, and they said all I'd need is a 3" gasket to fit the centre section to the downpipe.
