The bolt's you are referring too will be the Rocker cover Bolt's Not the Head Bolt's.

their is no sequence, however do not overtighten them as the thread will strip easily, and that wil mean the heads need to come off and be helicoiled.

Can I take the rocker covers off and still get to the head bolts with out taking the engine out ? All so is there a tightening sequence ?

why you would want to get to the head bolts is a strange one. if head gaskets have gone they've gone tightening then will do zip.

Well as there is oil dripping from the side of the engine i was hoping that it just needed tightening, I rember with the cosie engines after the first ten thousand miles or so the bolts stretched, so hoping it's the same deal ?

Amd as my engine was built about 13 k ago the head gasket shouldnt of gone,

Are you sure its from the head gasket itself, & not from above, like breather pipe etc then running around the head to block joint looking like its from the gasket.
