Default stuttery when wet lol

have noticed if its been raining the type-r pretty much is undriveable really jumpy and struggle to get above 15-20 in any gear making it unuseable, it has an apexi induction and zersports hard kit version4, my thinking is water is coming through the induction vent from facelift bonnet, and whats the best answer to sort this was thinking about an actual induction mini vent although i dont like them, and sealing it in then doing something with the vent its self, or possibly changing back to original air box set up which i dont have and would have to source, but theres bount to be others with this same problem and how did you overcome it?
