Default Sti intercooler

Hi all i have a classic wagon turbo with a full decat exhaust and a panel filter. The intercooler on it is the one that is angled to the passenger side. I have a intercooler off a 555 sti classic would this be a good upgrade as dont really want a front mount intercooler as i want to keep it looking standard. Thanks

If its the straight flat TMIC then it is. But there is a bit of reworking that needs to be done to make it fit. A guy from WMI got it done at pole position.

Have a read here. http://autospeed.com/cms/title_TopMo...8/article.html

If you are going from slanted WRX intercooler to slanted STI intercooler there isn't a lot of difference between them but as the STI one comes with a better hose feed it does make it flow better so is worth having.
