Default Installing a front wheel bearing on a classic.

So is there any special technique to doing this, i recently fitted one by removing the old one using a press, then pushed the new bearing down into the hub using the outer shell, i then put in the cclip, pressed the seals in and finished it off by pushing the hub down onto the flange supporting the centre of the bearing so it didn't push on the internals.

Unfortuntely it didn't work, when i came to driving it i had the same issue as before, the flange still moves side to side causing the disc to push the pads about and rattle, i can only think the flange is somehow worn or the hub?

I'm wondering if the driveshaft bolt was tight enough as i didn't torque it but, you know you don't need to, you get a feel for tightness, besides the one on now i didnt torque.

Thanks
