Default Bugeye Boost Solenoid Cleaning

Any tips on how to do this as the 2 green connectors don't cycle the BS on the newage cars. Also is there a technique to getting the electrical connector off, is it push the tab forwad, back??

Thats what I have done but the idea I thought of the putting it in the test mode cycles the solenoid allowing the brake cleaner to go through.
