Default piston movement ?

thought i would ask about this along with my h/g issues lol

as i rotate the crank to move the pistons up and down etc to inspect the bores i noticed on all cylinders that on the downstroke of the piston if i stop rotating the crank on the downstroke of each cylinder and give the piston a little push there seems to be a little movement ( downwards movement and a very small clunk can be heard ) and the piston moves very very slightly but not enough to see it moving only really feeling it to the touch

i know the engine is good and has no slap or knock etc its just strange that it does this on all cylinders , could it be that the engine is stone cold and no oil etc present that i am just feeling the tollerances as such or is it something more ?

im very paranoid lol and dont want to fix whats not broken as doing the bearings etc is a lot of work that id rather not do if its not needed to be honest
