hullo there......

new too scooby net...not new to driving them lol....or does that just sound gay.....

.....got a question thats always troubled me ive got a sport totally swear by it in the winter..........cos i love my snow boardin and my pals subaru MV pickup

i like too travel abit im the winter and now that i dont smoke ive been saving my pennys and im thinkin on buyin a wrx...... however the puttin off thing is ALWAYS hearin about big ends and main bearing.

whats this down too apart from chocolate engines and gearboxes......

hard constant drivin or what.........

ive got a few pals with wrx's 3 of which big end/mains 1 was an sti which i know did have a hard life.

any answer and thoughts go ahead. if i dont like them then GX model it is. if i do like it then wrx with AA take me home cover it'll be.....

You'll be fine if you don't over mod the car and service properly - they only tend to go pop when you push them too far! There will always be the odd std engine failure but that is the norm with any car.

Just treat it with respect, proper warm up and cool down. Don't redline etc u should be fine. If yr buying second hand then speak to the previous owner to gauge how he treated it.
