Default Ecu question

I'm unsure if my ecu has been mapped is there anyone around the essex area who could tell me if my ecu has the EcuTek on it?
Or does anyone know a way of telling??

mine as a little sticker on the ECU that says 'tek 2' I was told this indicates a generic map ECUtek used to do a few years ago it was designed to go along with a specific levels of mods (exhaust, FMIC, induction etc) but I don't think it was very popular as most people go for a custom map, if you have a little yellow sticker this would indicate a ECUtek map, if not contact a 'mapper' he'll plug in his kit and tell you right away if it's been done, I don’t think it’s wise to rely solely on the indicated boost level to determine what software is loaded lots of other things can cause increased boost levels.
If you do find you have a ECUtek map in there we’ll also be pleased to know the one off ECUtek licence fee will have already been paid so subsequent re-maps are much cheaper.
