Alarm help please
Just new on here and needing a little bit of help. On my Blobeye STI when i open the door i was told that i had to put key in ignition, foot on clutch then start within 30 seconds which is fine.
The problem is if i stop and turn off the ignition, it wont start again and i have to take the key out , press button to set alarm on and off then it will start.
From what i can read on here, its to do with the security codes on the keypad, can someone tell me what to do to disable this function.
Oh and does anyone live in Irvine who can help an old man with advice on working on his car!!!
Cheers

Try leaving the key in the ignition, after you've turned off. Turn the key all the way around so the electrics and everything come on, but stop before the last click to start the car. And press your alarm button once (it shouldn't beep) - then turn it the last click and the it should work. That's what I have to do on mine anyway. Saves you taking the key out, and beeping the alarm.

I have a Blobeye and I remember trying to start it by myself. It didn't work because of the 30 second thing. I remeber thinking I have broken it all ready lol. But as above thats what I do.
I don't have to put my foot on the clutch as long as its in neutral.
