Default Japspeed classic Manifolds?

Hi,
Has anyone used the Japspeed manifold on a classic turbo? I had a few Japspeed bits on my old Syline & found them to be really good.
They seem to have 2 listed, one is complete with up pipe built in, so its all one piece.
The other comes with a seperate up pipe, although its still stainless. Just wondering what the difference actually is?
If anyone has fitted one of these i'd be interested in any feedback about it.
Thanks,
James

Fair enough, cheers mate. It was the price that made the manifold so appealing!!
Thanks for the advice, i'll look into that

Nothing wrong with OEM headers unless you're going crazy power, other than that get a set of Harveys ported and flow matched Header/Uppipe combos Personally I'd never fit Japspeed

Well i think i may have a cracked manifold somehow, & was just thinking of uprating it instead of replacing with standard.
I may not even be cracked, but just wanted to have a look at some manifold costs first.

I wouldn't consider the Japspeeds to be uprated, which was the point I was making

Thats the kind of answer i was hoping for, i'll give them a miss then. Cheers.
If it does turn out to be cracked, maybe i'll look into Harveys, althoug i'm guessing they're a lot of money?
For a standard ish car i probably wont bother, when i get a bit more power i'll probably look into it.
Thanks again.

Hi 53,

So you have never actually used one of our Japspeed manifolds???

But are happy to pass comment on its quality on the forum. We have sold hundreds and hundreds of these and have had very few issues! In fact we have had a problem with only a handful, which lets be honest can sometimes happen. When we get a problem we investigate and replace when within the 12 month guarantee we provide on all our products.

We are an honest company selling a very good quality item for a very affordable price. we have many very happy customers.

At what point in my posts did you think I actually commented on quality ?

You are assuming the reason I would never fit them is a quality issue which says more about the faith in your product than actually what I said

I have seen, used and experienced Japspeed exhaust products but have never mentioned quality.

Compared to the OEM headers you can purchase for a similar price ported and flow matched etc, you would need to back up your unprovoked protest with some hard facts to suggest they are uprated

No offence intended, but seeing as you singled out my posts I thought I should reply. Feel free to be a little less affronted in any retort

Hey 53,

We seem to have a few members on this forum that seem to crop up and have a pop at us when they have not experienced the quality of our products.

Its very frustrating when we try to provide you guys with as many group buys as possible at exceptionally low prices. I am completely confident in the quality of our products.

I know how many we sell and how many issues are reported to us, and its a very good ratio of happy customers.

Thanks for your reply.

Regards
Paul
