Following on from my post a couple of weeks ago re- wheel bearings, my 03 STi is now at Extreme Scoobies (Boreham) for a complete wheel bearing change.
Have to admit, I'm rather disappointed that this has become necessary at only 41k. Whilst three of the four are making noise, the front O/S is the main culprit.
At over 8 yrs old, and lots of mods it's reliability has been exemplary but I guess you must expect things to get past their best, even though the mileage is well below average!
At nudging 400bhp I have to expect the original clutch to be the next on the list!
It's strange that you have no problem spending a fortune on mods and accessories but begrudge it when you HAVE to fork out!

I feel yr pain mate. Its just 1 of thoses things. Its best that u got it changed before it took something else with it. Just put this expense in the maintainace category lol u might sleep better at night.

It really is a strange love affair.

My my02 is on its third set. But is at over 100k. Thats all ive ever had go wrong with it so cant complain
