Default VF24 Turbo

Ive read somewhere that the maximum you should put through a VF24 turbo is 17psi ? can anyone shed any light on this please

yea thats where i read it from ive also read you can go up to 20psi

Its just my 94 wrx now has a 97 sti engine in but im still running the map from my wrx engine ( getting remapped tomorrow )

It is now mapped to run 1.4 bar

97 STi has the VF23...................I think?

VF23 will handle 20psi according to that article.

well this engine came out a crash damaged 97 STi and has vf24 stamped on the turbo housing

Vf24 was standard on sti4 my98 but my97 starts august or sept 97.

Vf23 on sti3.

Great little turbo Friend of mine has just upgraded his TD04 for a VF24 and it goes like stink very rapid, little in the way of kick in the back but smooth, pulls and spools with great ease and it's only when you look at the speedo you realise ! Very similar to the VF28's I've been in

my vf24 made 320 bhp,its a good little turbo and spools really well.
