Default Blowing downpipe / Boost

Hey guys,

I just had my car mapped by Bob Rawle yesterday - all good there!

But, have noticed after the mapping that the flange where the downpipe meets the centre section is blowing quite badly. I think this might have been blowing during the mapping process, but it is blowing much more after mapping.

Question: I took my car for a very short run this morning and noticed my car isn't peaking at the boost level it should. My boost has been set to 1.5 Bar, but today I was only peaking at 1.3 Bar.

Would the blowing downpipe flange cause my boost level to drop?

Cheers guys,

David

a leak post-turbo wont cause any boost problems

Check between the headers and the uppipe, that seal always seemed to blow out fairly often

Also not sure when your checking, but check your boost pressure in 4th gear at WOT
